and now I’m in my last night in the desert.

it’s been a mega busy period… but a very fulfilling one as we saw our project go live succesfully… having worked on this project for over a year, it is really satisfying seeing the new system up and users getting used to it!

A big thanks to my team colleagues for their awesome work…

and to my friends and family for your support and encouragement.

back to the island soon to start something new

we try to look for it… nothing comes up on the screen… so we bring the whole list up, and still we can’t see it…

and points to the screen

then it dawned on us!! Philippinos pronounce the “F” as “P” and the “V” as “B”!!
the item number was “CL-582″!!!!!!

and the mistery of the pipe solved too!

now we’ve notived the

good laugh to kick of an early morning!

we’re planning to leave the office at 9pm tonight… we’ll see!

need to recover loads of sleep!

now off to bed with a great feeling of satisfaction, together with tiredness from all the long work hours and strange sleeping patterns

half of my trip is already over

We’re in the middle of the go-live process and quite hassled

I settled in quite quickly this time, knowing already a few people from my last trip and knowing the place.

And just to let you know that today at 3pm the temperature was an enjoyable 32 degrees celcius!
Back to short sleeves! … while my Maltese friends in England and Canada are playing with the snow!

back to work…

My flight is scheduled to leave in about an hour and this will kick off another 3 weeks of work and new experiences…

Landed last night at around 19:30, then went home and ate a huge dinner… Spare ribs in mum’s special yummy sauce and a good bottle of wine…

At 22:30 drove to Veccja to meet my mates… who were missing me… hehe… I was too dw!!!
We had a couple of laughs there as I told told some stories and they updated me on what had happened during these last 3 weeks.

By 1am everyone was dead tired and went back home..

and this morning… back to my office and my lovely desk in Malta!!
